On Saturdays we have rides to shopping areas outside Deposit.

We manage the local Toys for Tots Program which gives less fortunate children and teens gifts during the holiday season.

Executive Director Job Description

The Deposit Foundation is a non-profit organization providing essential connections to residents of Deposit to access health and human services.  The Deposit Foundation provides many essential programs and services for local residents.  Our programs are: Transportation, Assistance and Referral, Friendship Table, Friendship Programs, and Toys for Tots. 

The Executive Director is the key management leader for the Deposit Foundation in Deposit, NY.  This is a regular part-time position which is 3 days a week, some occasional nights and weekends, with some benefits. Human Services experience, College degree or equivalent required.  Must have a strong desire to help Deposit residents.  

Job responsibilities:

  • strategic planning

  • financial planning and management 

  • reporting

  • marketing 

  • community outreach

  • grant writing and reporting 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Must have strong leadership, public speaking, oral and writing skills

  • A genuine concern for people and their well being

  • Ability to function as a team

  • Good analytical and decision-making skills

  • Good written and verbal skills

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Computer skills - Microsoft Word, Excel

  • QuickBooks 

  • Familiarity and comfort in using social networking platforms such as Facebook, Twitter

Volunteer Driver for the Deposit Foundation!

The Deposit Foundation Needs More Drivers for Their Transportation Program.

The Transportation Program runs Mon-Fri, and ensures clients get to their vital health, and human resource appointments.


  • The Deposit Foundation provides the vehicle, gas, GPS, and insurance.

  • Drivers decide which trips to take, and are allowed to run errands while they wait for clients.

  • If you have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and love helping others in our community
