Help at our monthly meals!
Our Friendship Table meal brings people in our community together. Come be a friendly face!
We host our Friendship Table meal once a month, from September to May. The meals are free, and everyone who helps are volunteers from our community.

There a multiple jobs you can do to help out! You can volunteer to do one thing or stay throughout the meal to do it all. It's up to you how to want to help.
​ Set up
Set up usually takes two people. These volunteers help set up the tables, put place mats and silverware out, and get the refreshments ready. They arrive around 3:30 and can leave when set up is done.

Serving
Depending on the meal, we could need up to three volunteers to help serve. Servers mostly stay in the kitchen and load up the plates with the food people want. Must wear hair nets, gloves and aprons.

Clean up
Some servers are expected to help with clean up, but we could also use two extra hands for this. They clear off the tables, and put away any extra tables and chairs the church doesn't need out.

Qualifications
Must be friendly, sociable, and physically able to complete the tasks requested of their volunteer position.

If interested, please fill out a volunteer application with FT checked off. Mail or bring the completed application to our office.
If you have further questions, give us a call.
If approved, we will go through a short orientation to get you familiar with the our procedures. Then we'll put you on the volunteer list, and our coordinator will give you a call for our next meal.
